This gig has been probably one of my favorites. For Whole Food Philosophy, I have written Georgie Through The Looking Glass and The Legend of Tay, the companion novels to their first two E Books. The books combine olympic athletes and storybook characters. They were devilishly fun to write. I have also consulted on their website content and helped to instigate and maintain their social media accounts which currently include facebook, twitter, and email marketing. As any good copywriter knows, online advertising and presence is essential. While working for LaDual as their Social Media Manager (along with many other hats), I set up and managed many social media accounts overseeing a surge in the number of likes, followers, and shares.

My time with LaDual first began with being contracted to write their company story. They were a start up jewelry company with a unique perspective on making jewelry with a special meaning and charitable heart. From that first contracted work we developed a bond and I went on to write all of their website content, product lines, policies, training manuals, and much more. My degree was in playwriting and I have always adored cinema. Ever since I was a kid filming spoofs in my grandparents' basement.

As my time with LaDual continued, I started handling all of the communications. From generating advertising copy and job postings to general business communications and social media, I spearheaded basically anything that needed to get done.

Real Estate Agent Biographies
Alex and I found each other on UpWork. He hired me to write introductory biographies for Real Estate agents to be published in a guide for home buyers and sellers. The purpose of these biographies were to showcase what set each agent apart from the rest and to recognize their long list of achievements. I studied Creative Writing at the University of Iowa for three and a half years. I received a BFA in English with an emphasis in their prestigious Creative Writing Track. During my time at the university, I worked as a writing tutor, helping students to learn how to edit critical essays. I wrote papers and gave presentations at conferences about the difficulties facing tutors today.
I am a vivacious and outgoing person and I was born a writer. I write everything from short stories and poems to screenplays and websites. Click on the titles below for a little taste of the work I have done and the work I am capable of doing.

Book GhostwritingThis project was an established businessman wanting help writing the story of his father who immigrated to the United States and started his own business during the Great Depression. It was a lot of fun to try and capture the voice and historical significance of this man's incredible journey through the American Dream. I love writing short stories. It's a terrific challenge to get a whole novel's worth of growth into a few pages. Or is it more of a challenge to get a few pages into a novel?
