Short stories are probably my favorite thing to write. I love the challenge of having to fit everything into a confined space. I've found the hardest part of writing a short story is condensing character but like any artist you only get better with practice and edits. I would like to say my stories are a combination of Flannery O'Connor and Jorges Louis Borges but that may be a little too flattering. My favorite genre is the Fantastic and Uncanny. Enjoy.
