In my work for the Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics, I managed the Facebook pages for The Kindergarten Project, Project Connect, Class Links, The Sanford School, and TEP overseeing a growth in subscriptions of 10-25% for each page. In addition, I began a LinkedIn page for TEP and made contacts with three large companies for training sessions. I also wrote over 25 articles for publication through ASU Now and other offical school communications as well as content for video interviews of staff.

One of my favorite pieces of art to create is advertising. I love it because it takes the best part of writing - creating a unique voice - to a whole new level. I especially love writing commercials and coming up with punchy lines. Take a look at some of the work I've already done and then let me know what you may need. This is a non profit that I sit on the board of. Recently, I was the head of a committee for our April Fundraiser and created the promotional material to the right to use in Facebook advertising for the event. After running this campaign for a week, we were able to meet our goal for the number of tickets sold.
This is a company I have mostly worked with for web design. However, we have also needed to get creative in advertising as housing is a hot commodity in Iowa City. The bulk of the advertising we have done for Dubuque Street Rentals has been posting vacancies on craigslist due to the budget of the company, however, we have also advertised on Facebook as well. Vacancies do not last long with Dubuque Street Rentals!

Ladual Jewelry
Store Displays
Probably one of the most enjoyable advertising projects I've worked on, these store displays were an exercise in creativity. The whole concept of LaDual rested on the jewelry being a part of nature to be kept within yourself so we created intricate window displays featuring the habitat of the animal in front of a large poster with just a powerful snippet of words. I have a long relationship working with Whole Food Philosophy. I have wrote and edited e books, commanded social media and email marketing, and consulted on website content. Currently I am working on creating youtube videos for the creation of the recipes. Check back soon for a link.

The Facebook page was removed after this event but I created promotional material for email blasts as well as suggested posts for the Facebook page. With these efforts we sold out for the event within two weeks and our wait list was about 60 people. The email campaign shown had a 99% open rate.
What happens when you combine photoshop and short bursts of compelling speech? You get the magical art form of print advertising.

This project is still ongoing as we are constantly adding new venues for social media outreach. So far, with Whole Food Philosophy, we are active on Facebook and twitter daily and send out email campaigns every Wednesday. Coming soon we are adding YouTube videos every Thursday as a Throwback Thursday to the earlier recipes included with our newsletters. Almost all of our content is created, some shared. So far, we have seen a growth in natural followers and likes as well as a steadily increasing open rate on our email campaigns.
